Hisense Unveils Mini LED 4K U7K Series Smart TVs
Hisense has introduced its latest TV lineup, the Mini LED 4K U7K series, available in four different sizes ranging from 55 inches to 85 inches. These TVs utilize mini LEDs for backlighting and feature a sleek bezel-less design. Key specifications include a peak brightness of 1000 nits, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, over 1200 local dimming zones, HDR 10+ Adaptive technology, and Dolby Vision IQ support. Additionally, they come equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports.
On the software side, the Hisense Mini LED 4K U7K series runs on the VIDAA OS, enhanced with AI features like AI Sports Mode and AI Picture to optimize image quality. These enhancements are powered by the Hi-View Engine chipset within the TVs.
While the exact pricing and availability were not officially announced, some details can be found on the brand’s official store on Shopee. It appears that these TVs will be available starting September 25th, coinciding with Shopee’s Payday Sale. The 55-inch model is listed at RM6,999, the 65-inch at RM7,999, and the 75-inch at RM9,999. Unfortunately, there is no pricing information available for the 85-inch model.

Logitech has launched two new microphones under its gaming-centric Logitech G brand: the Yeti GX and the Yeti Orb. These microphones mark Logitech’s continued commitment to audio production after discontinuing the Blue Microphone branding. The Yeti GX features a clean and minimalist design with RGB lighting, while the Yeti Orb is a more compact option.
The Yeti GX offers a dynamic, supercardioid pickup pattern, 24bit/96KHz audio quality, 50Hz-18KHz frequency response, 95dB dynamic range, and 78dB signal-to-noise ratio. It includes Smart Audio Lock for gain adjustment and noise reduction, and it connects via USB-C.
The Yeti Orb, on the other hand, is a condenser microphone with a polar cardioid pickup pattern, 24bit/48KHz audio quality, 70Hz-20KHz frequency response, 95dB dynamic range, and 72dB signal-to-noise ratio. While it lacks some of the features of the GX model, it still delivers clear audio and noise cancellation.
Both microphones are compatible with Logitech’s G HUB app for customization of lighting and sound effects. Logitech also plans to introduce support for LIGHTSYNC-enabled devices with Windows Dynamic Lighting in the future. The Yeti GX is priced at RM659, and the Yeti Orb is available for RM269.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Pro variant of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen2 chipset. This announcement makes the Redmi Note 13 Pro the world’s first smartphone to feature this new mid-range SoC.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen2 is a 5G-capable chipset built on the 4nm process technology, offering four 2.4GHz cores for performance and four 1.95GHz cores for efficiency. It also includes an Adreno GPU supporting up to FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
Other features of the chipset include FastConnect 6700 for high-speed connectivity, Spectra ISP for up to 200MP camera sensors and 4K video capture, LPDDR5 3200MHz RAM support, USB-C 3.1, and Quick Charge 4+.
While the Pro+ variant of the Redmi Note 13 series had previously been unveiled with its design and features, not much is known about the standard Redmi Note 13 variant at this time. More details are expected to be revealed at the series launch in China on September 21, 2023.
