A Blessing to Treasure
In this world, life can seem overwhelming and at times even disheartening. When times get tough, the little things like someone blessing you can mean the world. That momentary reminder that somebody else is rooting for you is an incredibly special feeling.
In today’s blog post, I want to explore why being blessed is a powerful thing. We’ll dive into what it means to be blessed, why we should always remember it and some examples of how it can be shared with others.
What Does it Mean to be Blessed?
The word “bless” means to give thanks, bestow good luck, show kindness and kindness, protect, and wish well. To be blessed, therefore, is to receive a token of gratitude, protection, and/or good luck. It’s a moment of receiving recognition that your presence matters, and someone else is sending positive energy your way.
Why We Should Remember to be Blessed
The power of a blessing is that it’s a sign that we are seen, cared for and valued by someone else. Blessings are a reminder of our strength and resilience to keep going, even when things don’t always turn out the way we’d like them to. They act as a boost of encouragement when our morale is low.
It’s also important to recognize that we all have a unique capacity to bless one another. We have the power to support our friends, family members and peers with words of comfort, a listening ear and words of affirmation. That’s why it’s important that we remember to not only be thankful for being blessed ourselves, but to give a blessing to someone else.
Examples of Blessings
A blessing can take on many forms, including verbal blessings like words of gratitude, compliments, words of support and/or prayers. There are also many small ways that you can spread blessings, such as offering a hand when someone needs it, donating to a charity, and writing cards to show that you’re thinking of someone.
At the end of the day, a blessing can mean a lot and be something to hold on to during hard times. It is a momentary reminder that somebody else is wishing the best for you and a great source of encouragement. Remember that everyone can give and receive blessings – even when times are tough.
