“Finding Delicious Ways to Follow a Diet”


I’m sure you know the feeling: wanting to take control of your diet and improve your health, but not sure where to start or if it can actually be enjoyable. I’m here to tell you that following a healthy diet doesn’t have to mean bland food, depriving yourself, or hours of meal-planning. You can still eat delicious meals that nourish your body and are easy to prepare!

In this blog, I’m going to show you how to follow a diet while still eating foods that excite your taste buds and keep you satisfied. From my experience, a few tweaks here and there to favorite recipes can make all the difference when it comes to meeting your diet goals.

For instance, try replacing regular ground beef with a leaner variety or experimenting with plant-based alternatives like quinoa. Rather than steaming vegetables, sauté them in olive oil with a bit of garlic. Adding flavor can really help make vegetables palatable and enjoyable.

I’m also a fan of portion control. If you’re eating larger portions than recommended, you may not realize how many calories you’re actually taking in. I like to weigh or measure out a portion of whatever I’m eating and that way I’m able to track how much I’m consuming.

Lastly, don’t be afraid to get creative! Use different herbs and spices to mix up the flavor profile of meals, create an indulgent smoothie bowl, or make use of veggie leftovers and throw them into an omelette. There’s always something you can do to add variety to your meals.
