Conviction in Jennifer Dulos Case: Michelle Troconis Found Guilty
Michelle Troconis has been convicted on all counts related to the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos, her boyfriend’s estranged wife. The verdict includes conspiracy to commit murder, tampering with physical evidence, conspiracy to commit tampering with physical evidence, and hindering prosecution.
Jennifer Dulos disappeared in May 2019 during a custody dispute with her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, who died by suicide in January 2020 after being charged with her murder.
During the trial, evidence was presented, including Troconis admitting to lying about seeing Fotis Dulos on the morning Jennifer vanished. Surveillance footage also showed them together later in the day, disposing of alleged evidence.
In closing arguments, prosecutors highlighted the deliberate murder plot, emphasizing Troconis’ role in the cover-up. The defense maintained Troconis’ innocence, stating she was unaware of Fotis Dulos’ intentions.
Troconis’ sentencing is scheduled for May 31, while investigations continue into Jennifer Dulos’ whereabouts.
