“How To Wake Up Bright And Early – My Tips For 6 AM Risers!”
Today, I’m going to share with you all my top tips for rising early, as someone who rises every morning at 6 o’clock sharp! I’m sure many of you are feeling exhausted from trying to make it through your mornings, but with a few simple changes and tips, you can feel more energized and excited to start your day.
1. Establish a consistent bedtime and stick to it – The most important part of being able to get up early and have energy to last through your day is to get a good night’s sleep. Setting yourself up with a consistent bedtime each night can help your body become accustomed to getting the same amount of rest.
2. Avoid caffeine before bedtime – Having a hot cup of tea or coffee in the evening may help you relax, but try to avoid any caffeinated beverages late in the day. Instead, have a warm glass of milk or decaffeinated tea. This will help you feel drowsy and get to bed quicker.
3. Don’t check your emails in bed – We are constantly inundated with emails throughout the day, and it can be difficult to turn your mind off in order to get some sleep. As such, avoid checking your emails or messages just before going to bed. Give yourself some quiet time and relax with a good book or some soothing music.
4. Place your alarm far away from the bed – Setting your alarm and having it within arm’s reach can make it too easy to hit snooze in the morning. Placing it out of reach forces you to physically get up out of bed in order to turn it off.
5. Set up a morning routine – Having a plan and set routine to follow every morning can help to motivate you and make your morning less daunting. Some examples of morning routines include reading, doing yoga, listening to a podcast, writing in a journal, or drinking a glass of water. Find what works best for you and stick with it!
By implementing these tips, I have been able to feel much more energized and productive when it comes to starting my days at 6 am. With a little discipline and consistency, you can be sure to have a successful morning routine as well!
