“Starting The Day Early: My Brother’s Later Rises”
Do you have a brother that never seems to make it out of bed? My brother is one of those people who no matter what he has planned, getting out of bed is a challenge. This isn’t to say that my brother doesn’t get up on time, it’s just that I’m always getting out of bed and starting my day earlier than him.
On the mornings when my brother does wake up and head out, I get a better start to the day. There is no rushing, no trying to meet my brother’s slower pace and that is so important. My day starts earlier and is far more productive than it would be if my brother had stayed in bed.
I am grateful to be able to start my day early because it allows me to make more time for what matters to me. By the time my brother gets out of bed, I’m usually ready to take on my next task or go to the gym.
I believe starting your day early is one of the most important keys to having a productive day. Having a brother who wakes up late, I understand how having extra time to myself helps me in more ways than one. Starting your day with enough time for you is an incredibly liberating feeling and one that my brother could benefit from as well.
Getting up earlier can help set your day up for success, both mentally and physically. Being able to tackle the tasks that you have before your day has even started is incredibly gratifying. Even if you only have an extra half hour of alone time, that half hour can make all the difference.
Though I might tease my brother for waking up late, I know that his rising schedule doesn’t mean anything bad. It just gives me the opportunity to have a few moments of peaceful solitude to take on the day ahead of me.
Starting my day early is something that has worked well for me and if my brother ever gets out of bed a bit sooner, it’ll be just another way to help us both have an even better day.
