“The Early Bird Gets the Worm: My Morning with my Brother”
My morning started with a surprise when I noticed that my brother was already up and bustling around the kitchen. I had woken up with the expectation of being the first one to start my day but my brother had beaten me to the punch! He was full of energy, buzzing around and cooking a delicious breakfast while whistling cheerfully. I could tell he had been up for a while, but he wouldn’t let me know how early he had started his day.
I marveled at the thought that someone in my own family could be so focused and motivated. I felt motivated myself just by seeing him! I asked him about the tasks he had planned for the day and he told me about all the errands he was going to run and the tasks he was determined to finish. He really set a great example for me, and made me more determined to make the most of my day.
My brother was not just an early riser, he was also a believer in the proverb ‘The Early Bird Gets the Worm’. His advice to me was to get up as early as I could to make the most of my day, so that I could reach my goals and make the most of my potential. I decided to take his advice and try and follow his example.
My brother taught me the valuable lesson of rising early and using my time wisely, and for that I am forever thankful. That morning may have been the start of many early mornings for me and a fresh beginning to get things done. And that, my friends, is the power of an early bird.
