As the world continues to move quickly around us, we can easily forget to slow down and remember the small details. Like, did you get dressed today? It might seem silly, but when you think about it, we can get caught up in the everyday rush and simply forget.
This can happen especially if you have to spend the majority of your time at home. For some people, days can blur together in sweatpants and lounge wear, and although there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, it can take a toll on your motivation and mood.
Getting dressed for the day may sound mundane, but it can do wonders for how you feel about yourself. Making that small effort to actually choose and wear an outfit for the day gives you the boost you need to conquer your to-do list and also makes you more inclined to make healthier choices like drinking plenty of water, exercising, or eating nutritious meals.
On the days when you feel stuck and unmotivated, take a minute to pause and remember to ask yourself: did I get dressed today? Making that extra effort to pick an outfit, no matter how small, will do wonders for your mood.
