Daphne Joy Denies Allegations of Involvement in Diddy Lawsuit
Daphne Joy, former girlfriend of rapper 50 Cent, has firmly denied recent allegations linking her to Sean “Diddy” Combs in a lawsuit filed by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. Jones claimed that Joy, along with City Girls rapper Yung Miami, were paid to work as sex workers for Combs.
In an Instagram post, Joy expressed deep hurt over the accusations, labeling them as lies and character assassination. She vowed to take legal action against Jones and his attorney, stressing that the claim of being a sex worker is entirely false.
Joy also addressed her ex-boyfriend, 50 Cent, criticizing him for making light of the situation in a separate Instagram post. She accused him of past sexual abuse and lack of involvement in their son’s life, adding that he had permanently damaged their family.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent responded to the allegations, stating that they have compelled him to take legal action to protect his son. He dismissed Joy’s statements as retaliation for his decision to seek sole custody of their child.
The allegations against Combs come amidst a series of lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault and harassment. Federal officials raided Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami as part of an ongoing investigation, drawing criticism from his attorney who labeled it as a “witch hunt.”
