better late than never.
They say, “better late than never.” This is something we’ve all heard at one point or another in our lives. Whether it be related to arriving somewhere on time or completing a task, this proverb has been around for quite some time.
When applied to everyday situations, it serves as a reminder that it’s important to finish things in a timely manner, even if they are late. While not ideal, the idea of being late is usually more acceptable than not doing anything at all.
This can also apply to goals and ambitions that we have for ourselves. We might have certain deadlines in mind for when we want something accomplished but end up missing them by a significant amount of time. Instead of giving up completely, why not keep going and do what we can with the remaining time? It might not turn out exactly how we expected it to, but as long as effort was put forth and there were still tangible results then that’s better than having nothing to show at all.
At the end of the day, being late might feel like a failure initially but taking advantage of the situation could ultimately yield much greater rewards than anticipated. So remember: Better late than never!
