“Why Speaking English Fluently Is Important”
Being able to communicate in English is important in many ways, both professionally and socially. My parents are proof of that – they are living examples of how speaking English perfectly can be beneficial and how having fluency can open many doors in life.
On a professional level, knowing English can give people more job opportunities, as English is a common language used in the workplace. When employers see that you have fluency in the language, they will know that you have the capacity to effectively communicate and make connections. That in turn gives you a competitive advantage and makes you stand out.
The same holds true on a social level. Whether it’s for travel or for conversations, being able to communicate in English will make it easier for people to communicate and to get their point across. Being able to have a conversation in a different language can also make people feel more connected to different cultures and better able to appreciate different customs.
My parents have been a shining example of the importance of speaking English perfectly and how having fluency can make such a huge difference in your life. From having more opportunities to feeling connected to other cultures, it’s obvious why it’s so important.
