Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened.

Life is filled with moments, both big and small. Some of these moments bring us joy and others can cause us sadness. No matter how our experiences shape us, we should remember that life’s greatest moments are worth cherishing and holding onto.

It is natural to feel disappointment when something comes to an end; however, rather than dwelling on the loss, it is important to find solace in what you had experienced. After all, it happened for a reason. Instead of lamenting over the fact that it’s over, reflect on the fond memories and take pride in what was accomplished while embracing all that was gained along the way.

Instead of shedding tears because something has ended, use those emotions to smile as you look back on what you have experienced and appreciate everything it brought you – the laughter, lessons, connections or achievements that could not have been gained without it. This positive outlook can be a key element of resilience and can help foster growth from whatever may come next in your life journey.

So when something comes to a close in your life, don’t cry because it’s over – smile because it happened.
