Oldest Rainforest in Malaysia

The world’s oldest tropical rainforest is believed to be the Taman Negara National Park, which is located in Malaysia. Taman Negara is estimated to be over 130 million years old and covers an area of approximately 4,343 square kilometers (1,677 square miles). The rainforest is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including tigers, elephants, and rhinoceroses, as well as rare species such as the Malayan sun bear and the Malaysian tiger. The park is also a popular destination for ecotourism, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the rainforest through activities such as jungle trekking, canopy walks, and river cruises.
