Chicago
Chicago is indeed a city that is renowned for its impressive skyline and numerous skyscrapers. As of my knowledge cutoff date in September 2021, Chicago had approximately 130 buildings that were at least 150 meters (492 feet) tall. These tall buildings contribute to the iconic skyline of the city.
Some of the most recognizable skyscrapers in Chicago include the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower), which held the title of the tallest building in the world for many years, and the John Hancock Center. Other notable skyscrapers in the city include the Aon Center, Trump International Hotel and Tower, and the Bank of America Tower.
Chicago’s downtown area, known as the Loop, is home to many of these skyscrapers, along with other commercial and residential buildings. The city has a rich architectural history, and its skyline continues to evolve with new construction projects.
Please note that the number of skyscrapers in Chicago may have changed since my knowledge cutoff, as new buildings may have been constructed or planned in the city.
