“Getting Better, Thanks to You”


I have always been someone who believed in the power of positive thinking and having a can-do attitude, but I’ve been struggling recently to keep it up. With all the chaos of 2022, it has been tough to keep a good perspective on life. But then I was reminded of something a friend once said to me. “Things can only get better if you believe that they can.”

Those words kept playing over in my mind and eventually they sparked the start of a transformation. I began to realize that while there were many things out of my control, I did have the power to choose my attitude and perspective. So, I decided to use those positive thoughts to help fuel me in improving my life and the world around me.

First, I made the commitment to meditate each morning and use it to visualize the life I want. During this time I set positive affirmations and worked on giving gratitude for everything that was going right. Then I began to fill my mind and life with positivity. Whether it be reading uplifting books, listening to uplifting music or spending time in nature, I found that these activities all worked together to lift my spirits and fill me with inspiration and peace.

As the days went by, I started to notice that I was feeling more energized, happier and that my outlook on life was beginning to change. I now understand how much of an impact my thoughts have on my day and how my life is ultimately in my hands. I’m grateful for the reminder from my friend and for the courage to start believing that I can make things better.

Thank you for helping me to realize this and for supporting me on my journey to better days. I’m sure things will only continue to get better with time.
