MSN Chats Discontinued
MSN, which stands for Microsoft Network, was an online service and web portal provided by Microsoft. It was launched on August 24, 1995, and provided a variety of internet services, including email, instant messaging, news, weather, and other content.
One of the popular features of MSN was MSN Messenger, also known as Windows Live Messenger, which was an instant messaging client that allowed users to chat with friends and family online in real-time. It was widely used during the late 1990s and early 2000s as one of the primary instant messaging platforms.
However, over time, as technology and communication methods evolved, MSN faced competition from other services and social media platforms. As a result, Microsoft decided to discontinue MSN Messenger in favor of other services. The official service shutdown for MSN Messenger took place on October 31, 2014.
It’s important to note that since my knowledge cutoff date is September 2021, there may have been further developments or changes related to MSN or its services beyond that time.
