Cleveland Browns Quarterback Deshaun Watson Ruled Out for the Season

The Cleveland Browns have announced that quarterback Deshaun Watson will miss the remainder of the season due to injuries sustained in their recent victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Watson underwent an MRI revealing a high-ankle sprain in his left ankle and a displaced fracture to the glenoid in his right shoulder.

Despite Watson’s stellar performance in the game, medical consultations with Browns’ Head Physician, James Voos, MD, and specialist Neal ElAttrache, MD, determined the need for immediate surgical repair to prevent further damage. He will be placed on season-ending injured reserve with an expected full recovery for the 2024 season.

In response to Watson’s absence, Dorian Thompson-Robinson is set to start as quarterback against the Steelers in Week 11. The team is focused on adjusting their offensive and defensive strategies for the remainder of the season.

The Cleveland Browns organization has expressed confidence in their backup quarterback and is gearing up for the challenges ahead. Fans can follow the team’s progress and stay connected through various channels, including the official website, social media, and the mobile app.

As the Browns navigate this setback, the announcement serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of professional sports and the resilience required in the face of unexpected injuries.
