Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy Take Home Mirrorball Trophy in “Dancing With the Stars” Season 32 Finale

The Season 32 finale of “Dancing With the Stars” was a dazzling spectacle filled with memorable performances and intense competition. The night kicked off with a captivating opening number featuring all couples from the season, setting the stage for the grand finale.

Notable eliminees, including Barry Williams, Lele Pons, Mauricio Umansky, Harry Jowsky, and Mira Sorvino, returned to dance alongside the five finalists to the tune of “Young Hearts Run Free” by Candi Staton. Season 31 champions Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas also graced the stage with a performance to “Give It to Me Baby” by Rick James.

The finalists, Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber, Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach, Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev, and Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, each had two opportunities to showcase their skills. The first was a redemption dance, where they revisited and improved upon one of their earlier routines. The second was a freestyle, allowing for creative expression and showmanship.

Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber’s salsa to “Get on Your Feet” by Gloria Estefan earned them a score of 25/30, while their freestyle to a mix of Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez garnered an impressive 28/30.

Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach showcased a flawless foxtrot to “Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra, receiving a perfect score of 30/30. Their freestyle, set to “Happy” by C2C featuring Derek Martin, also earned them a perfect 30/30.

Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov impressed with their samba to “Spice Up Your Life” by Spice Girls, earning 29/30. Their freestyle, a dynamic performance to “Run the World (Girls)” by Beyoncé and “Level Up” by Ciara, secured a perfect score of 30/30.

Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev’s tango to “Libertango” by Astor Piazzolla earned them 29/30, and their freestyle to “Lose My Breath” by Destiny’s Child and “Suéltate” by Sam i and Jarina De Marco featuring Anitta and BIA wowed the judges, earning a perfect 30/30.

Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy concluded the night with a perfect foxtrot to “Unconditionally” by Katy Perry and an electrifying freestyle to “Que Calor” by District 78, both earning them a well-deserved score of 30/30.

In the end, the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy was awarded to Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, marking a historic win for Season 32. The night was a celebration of talent, dedication, and the joy of dance.
