My Morning Routine – How I Jumpstart My Day
Every day, my alarm clock goes off at 6am sharp, prompting me to start my day. That’s right – no snooze button here! Even on the days when all I want to do is sleep, I power through and make it out of bed. The morning is the most important part of my day – how I spend my morning often dictates the outcome of the entire day.
That’s why, even on days when it’s difficult to get out of bed, I take the time to focus on my morning routine. This morning ritual involves:
•Making my bed. A tidier bedroom instantly lifts my mood.
•Making a healthy breakfast. Whether it’s a nutritious smoothie or avocado toast, having something good in my belly gives me an instant burst of energy.
•Cleaning up my desk. As I eat my breakfast, I tidy up my desk, clearing away any papers, stationery, and notes I have lying around. It helps clear my head and give me the focus I need for the day ahead.
•Going for a 10-minute walk. Taking the time to appreciate the morning air and nature around me can do wonders for my creativity and motivation.
These steps of my morning routine provide the energy and motivation I need to make it through the day. This simple routine is one that I always stick to – I know it works and gives me a head start every morning!
