Which One Would You Choose: This One or That One?
Hey everyone! If you’re anything like me, you’ve had those moments where you can’t make a decision between two things and can’t seem to settle on just one. Whether you’re debating between two cars, two outfits, two vacation spots, or anything else, it can be a real struggle to decide! So today I wanted to share some of my favorite strategies for tackling tough decisions and ultimately deciding on which one you like best.
Let’s start with the basics. Consider the pros and cons of each option. Take some time to make a list of the positives and negatives of each one, so you can get a clear idea of what you’re looking at.
Next, try taking a walk. Taking a stroll away from the source of your decision-making can help clear your head and refocus your thoughts on what’s most important. As you’re walking, keep in mind your own wants and needs, rather than those of others.
Another useful technique is visualization. Close your eyes and imagine yourself with the one you’re leaning toward. Picture the sights, sounds, and feelings associated with it and then imagine yourself with the other one. Which option brings you the most satisfaction and peace?
Lastly, try asking yourself a series of simple questions. What matters to you? What are you most looking for in this decision? Will one of the options take you farther than the other? Does one have more potential for growth? Thinking through questions like these can help make your decision a bit more clear.
Decisions can be tricky but with the right strategies and focus, you can decide on which one you would like–this one or that one. Give these strategies a try and see if it helps bring you one step closer to making a decision.
Good luck!
