I don’t know what to say, I’m just thinking of you a lot at this moment.

Sometimes we go through life feeling like there are so many thoughts swirling around our heads, yet when it comes to expressing how we feel, words can seem hard to find. That’s certainly how I’ve been feeling lately—filled with a range of emotions, but unable to pinpoint the exact words to convey my thoughts. In those moments, it can be incredibly comforting and validating to hear someone say, “I’m thinking of you”.

I’m sure many of us have experienced being told these three little words at some point in our lives. Whether it’s from a friend during a time of crisis, or even just from someone who randomly wants to check in and let you know that you’re on their mind—it feels great! Knowing that your feelings matter and are worth noting by someone else gives us strength and comfort in the times where things might feel a bit bleak.

It’s true that actions often speak louder than words, but sometimes we all need those three simple words—”I’m thinking of you”—to remind us that somebody is looking out for us. We should never underestimate the power of letting others know they are not alone, as it could make a world of difference. So if you ever come across this situation again in the future and don’t know what else to say or do—let them know you’re thinking of them!
