The Hurt That Lies Within



When people hear the words “They hurts,” the first thought that often comes to mind is physical pain. However, for many of us, the pain we experience is more internal. The hurt that lies within is the emotional suffering we endure, and it is often difficult to confront.

The hurt that lies within can be caused by anything from failed relationships, to feeling like an outcast, to the pressures of work and society. Regardless of the cause, emotional pain can be a deep and daunting thing to overcome. It often creates a cycle of low self-esteem, which only perpetuates further emotional pain.

It is important to acknowledge and face the hurt that lies within us. There is strength in recognizing the emotions we are struggling with and confronting the source of our pain. Once we take a look at the hurt, we can begin to address the emotions we are feeling. Whether it is through therapy, journaling, or talking with friends and family, there are a variety of methods available to cope with emotional pain.

While confronting the hurt that lies within can be daunting and difficult, it is ultimately necessary for our physical and emotional wellbeing. Acknowledging and addressing the pain allows us to work on overcoming it and grow in the process. No matter how challenging it is to confront our emotional pain, it is always worthwhile in the end.
