Munich Airport Information


Munich Airport, also known as Franz Josef Strauss International Airport, is the second-busiest airport in Germany after Frankfurt Airport. It is located about 28.5 km northeast of Munich city center in the municipality of Erdinger Moos.

The airport has two terminals: Terminal 1 serves airlines such as Lufthansa, Star Alliance, and SkyTeam, while Terminal 2 serves airlines such as Emirates, Etihad Airways, and oneworld. The airport is a hub for Lufthansa and its subsidiaries, including Eurowings and Austrian Airlines.
